As the Library Media Specialist at a K-6 elementary school engaging students in meaningful MakerSpace activities is a primary goal of mine. I strive to combine literature and reading activities with hands-on STEM and MakerSpace activities to create a love and excitement for books and learning. I will provide examples of StoryBook STEM activities I have successfully implemented in my Library as well as information on how to organize such activities both as a whole group and in centers or stations.
